Overview

BAPI members use a systematic methodology along with a wide variety of equipment to investigate claims of hauntings, poltergeist, and other related events for clients that request our assistance. Our goal is to document authentic claims of paranormal activity in the hopes of understanding these events.

Investigations

BAPI members travel around the state and the country to visit allegedly haunted locations in an attempt to experience paranormal events first hand. Here you can find a partial list of our previous and ongoing investigations. Please note that we do not post client investigations without their written consent.

USS HORNET (CVS-12)
 On-going investigation of this historic aircraft carrier turned museum. The ship is allegedly haunted by her former crew.

Ione Hotel
The team conducts an on-going investigation at this Gold Country hotel.



Wolfe Manor (AKA Andlberry Estate)
The team conducts an on-going investigation at former sanitarium/convelesant hospital.

 


Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP)

 Electronic Voice Phenomena or EVP is said to occur when voices (possibly of the dead) are captured on audio tape. No physical source for these voices is known at the time of the recording, but the voices are audible when the tape is played back.

While EVP is considered very controversial, we have incorporated EVP procedures into our normal investigative process. Our hope is to continue to experiment with these techniques in order to better understand this effect.
